Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to perform electrical and mechanical assembly work involving wires, terminals, small components, and related hardware.
This position requires previous soldering experience, good hand dexterity, and the patience to complete precise, repetitive assembly work. Brazing experience is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components using work instructions, diagrams, and basic drawings.
- Solder wires, terminals, connectors, and small components.
- Cut, strip, route, and terminate wires using wire strippers, wire cutters, lug crimpers, and similar tools.
- Install small components and hardware in tight or difficult-to-reach areas within an assembly.
- Properly use torque wrenches and common mechanical assembly tools.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and proper workmanship.
- Report damaged parts, assembly issues, or documentation discrepancies.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work independently while cooperating with production, engineering, and quality personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Previous soldering experience.
- Experience using basic electrical and mechanical hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to install small components in tight or difficult-to-reach areas within an assembly.
- Ability to inspect completed work and identify basic workmanship issues.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.
