LOCATION: Austin, TX 78728 2nd SHIFT: 3:00pm - 11:30pm; Tuesday - Saturday; 10% Shift Differential FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible In this role, you will: Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty Complete Specimen receipt logs Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen) Aliquoting of samples Discard, Archive (All of storage components) End of shift checklist: benches, staging and archiving units, shippers, biohazard bins All you need is: Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills Typing proficiency, including 10-key Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bonus points if you’ve got: Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program 2 years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment We’ll give you: Shift, weekend, or holiday pay differential Appreciation for your work A feeling of satisfaction that you’ve helped people Opportunity to grow in your profession Free lab services for you and your dependents Work-life balance, including Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance Help saving for retirement, with a 401(k) plus a company match A sense of belonging – we’re a community!
