Position: Pathologist Assistant
As a Pathologist's Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the Medical Director, assisting in all facets of anatomic pathology. You'll play a crucial role in preparing and examining surgical specimens for histological analysis.

PRN Opportunity
In This Role, You Will
- Be an integral part of the patient care process by preparing, grossly describing, and dissecting human tissue surgical specimens.
- Identify when corrective actions are necessary and implement effective solutions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment, navigating biological and chemical hazards.
- Promote safety, compliance, and quality control in all operations.
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree from a Pathologist Assistant program accredited by NCCLS.
- A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience grossing a variety of tissue types, from simple to complex.
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) BOC.
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in operating general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
