Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
• Assist with food preparation and food handling to support kitchen staff and maintain quality standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and balancing registers
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Support food industry operations by assisting with food service, serving customers, and managing wait times effectively

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred; retail or grocery store background is a plus
• Capable of multitasking in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
