Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with food service, order taking, and menu inquiries
• Prepare food items efficiently following safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately
• Manage customer orders through food handling and food service customer order management systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards
• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions and processing payments securely
• Ensure food safety management by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support quick service delivery
• Assist in retail sales transactions if applicable, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant environments, or similar retail settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or equivalent cash register operations
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales performance
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Previous roles in food service, cafeteria, grocery store, or retail sales are highly valued
