CREW SONIC FAST FOOD NIGHT SHIFT

Join our dynamic team at SONIC as a Crew Member for the Night Shift! As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a delightful dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. We have openings at our Sonic Latham store, Sonic Troy store and Sonic Albany store.

Duties

• Prepare food items according to SONIC’s menu specifications while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Operate the Aloha POS and Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitation practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while following company policies for cash handling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
