Carhop/Cook

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Carhop to join our team at our vibrant quick service restaurant in Coweta. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service, customer interaction, and providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Carhop, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering food and beverages with a smile and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food handling, POS systems, or restaurant service is preferred but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to customers' vehicles promptly and courteously.
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are maintained.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot and the inside of the store.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or café environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and making change.
• Experience with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
