Responsibilities of the Treasury Specialist:
- Process and manage trust and escrow disbursements and receipts
- Monitor, analyze, and post client cash receipts accurately and timely
- Prepare monthly trust reporting for management
- Perform account reconciliations and ad hoc account analyses
- Prepare variance analyses for management reporting
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Collaborate with global finance teams to support treasury operations
- Monitor transactions to ensure compliance with global regulations, statutory requirements, and firm policies
- Maintain and update treasury training materials, policies, and process documentation
- Support treasury-related projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional treasury and accounting duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5-10 years of accounting or treasury experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of trust accounting, treasury operations, and cash management
- Experience with account reconciliations, cash applications, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
- Experience with Elite 3E is a plus
