Soni is seeking a Fractional COO to partner with our founding team and drive operational excellence, financial discipline, and brand growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned operator who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
The Fractional COO will oversee day-to-day operations, financial planning, and brand marketing initiatives, ensuring that the company scales efficiently while building a strong consumer presence.
Key Responsibilities of the Fractional COO:
Operations
- Design and optimize operational processes across supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service.
- Implement KPIs and dashboards to track performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish scalable systems and workflows to support rapid growth.
Finance
- Partner with CEO and leadership team on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Monitor cash flow, unit economics, and profitability metrics.
- Support fundraising efforts with financial models and investor-ready materials.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial controls.
Brand Marketing
- Collaborate with marketing team to refine brand positioning and messaging.
- Oversee performance marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Align operational execution with brand promise to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Evaluate partnerships, influencers, and campaigns to maximize ROI.
Qualifications of the Fractional COO:
- Proven track record as COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in consumer eCommerce or DTC brands.
- Demonstrated experience scaling companies from $10M revenue to at least 5x growth.
- Strong understanding of operations, finance, and marketing integration in startup environments.
- Experience scaling early-stage companies from launch to growth stage.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence cross-functional teams.
- Fractional or consulting experience preferred.
