Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure proper elimination entries during consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across multiple entities, consolidating and analyzing results for management review.
- Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Partner with operations and plant managers to analyze production costs, inventory levels, and margin performance.
- Manage cost accounting processes, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and cost roll-ups.
- Analyze manufacturing performance metrics (labor efficiency, material usage, yield, and scrap).
- Support pricing strategies and cost reduction initiatives through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures across entities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and local reporting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales) to drive profitability and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members across multiple entities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing financial operations for multiple entities or business units.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (NetSuite & Tableau preferred).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and integration of financial systems.
