Our client is seeking a proactive Cost Manager to oversee cost accounting operations, focusing on maintaining accurate BOMs, Routers, and variance analysis while driving cost improvements. This role will manage updates to costing data, support margin and pricing analysis, assist with new product cost evaluations, and help integrate systems during acquisitions. The Cost Manager will collaborate across departments, ensure compliance with accounting standards and SOX 404, and work with IT to optimize ERP reporting and data accuracy.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred)
- 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Deep knowledge of BOMs, Routers, standard costing, and pricing analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with GAAP, SOX compliance, and manufacturing accounting practices
