Soni’s client is seeking an Analyst, Portfolio Management to support portfolio strategy, investment analysis, and capital planning initiatives. Responsibilities of the Analyst, Portfolio Management :
- Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasts, valuations, IRR analyses, and portfolio performance models
- Support hold/sell analysis, portfolio optimization, and disposition strategy initiatives
- Analyze portfolio composition, capital structure, and growth opportunities
- Prepare executive, board, and investor presentations and reporting packages
- Partner cross-functionally to gather data, develop assumptions, and provide actionable insights
- Support monthly and quarterly investor reporting and ad hoc analysis requests
- Assist with strategic projects and business initiatives across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, investment analysis, banking, consulting, FP&A, asset management, real estate, or a related analytical environment
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models from scratch
- Strong SQL skills required; Python experience is a plus
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- MBA, CFA, or other advanced financial designation
- Experience in real estate, asset management, portfolio management, or investment environments
- Exposure to Tableau, Yardi, or similar reporting and analytics tools
