Hotel Front Desk Agent

A Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, answering guest inquiries, processing payments, and resolving complaints. The role requires excellent customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure guests have a comfortable and positive hotel experience.

$16 - $16.50 hourly

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

• Manage room reservations, cancellations, and booking inquiries.

• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest questions.

• Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate billing records.

• Handle guest complaints and resolve concerns professionally.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure room readiness.

• Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems.

• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

• Follow hotel policies, security procedures, and service standards.

• The number one most important qualification is a positive attitude.

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.

• Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use reservation or hotel management systems.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional appearance and a friendly, positive attitude.

• Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve problems effectively.

• Flexibility to work some weekends, holidays, and different shifts as needed.

• Ability to handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
