Sonesta ES Suites Detroit Warren is looking for a dependable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, and prefers an early-morning schedule.
As our Breakfast Attendant, you’ll help start our guests’ day off right by preparing and maintaining our breakfast area, keeping everything stocked and clean, and providing friendly service throughout breakfast.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and prepare the breakfast area each morning
- Stock and replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout service
- Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful service
- Keep the breakfast area, tables, counters, and serving stations clean and organized
- Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Wash dishes and clean breakfast equipment as needed
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service
- Properly store food and supplies
- Let management know when inventory or supplies are running low
- Follow hotel and health department food-safety standards
- Assist with other hotel duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working independently. Previous hotel, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re willing to consider candidates who are eager to learn.
Applicants must be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing routine cleaning tasks, and lifting up to approximately 25–30 lbs.
Availability from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM is required. Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on the hotel’s schedule.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
