Swing shift has a $1.00/hour differential as a swing shift employee.
SCHEDULE: Must be able to work the entire schedule of 2PM-10PM Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate forklifts, including appliance-type paddle clamp attachment lift trucks, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and accurately, ensuring zero product damage and precise counts during loading, unloading, staging, and storage
- Receive all inbound materials: unload trucks and trailers, inspect shipments for damage or shortages, verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips, and record receipts in the ERP system
- Manage roll stock materials: inspect trailers, complete receiving forms and damage claims, enter roll stock inventory in ERP, and pull/stage roll stock for the Sheeting Department; return unused rolls with proper labeling and scanning
- Maintain accurate inventory records: perform regular cycle counts, random spot checks, and participate in company-wide annual physical inventory
- Track and document all incoming and outgoing shipments; prepare and package outgoing products (including folded cartons), print shipping labels and documentation, and coordinate pickups with carriers
- Independently organize and execute daily shipping functions; expedite customer orders accurately and on time, ensuring packaging quality and load integrity
- Communicate effectively with internal teams—including production, scheduling, purchasing, and customer service—to resolve issues related to orders, delivery schedules, and inventory
- Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start time and end times of work; must be able to work overtime when required.
- Perform all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, values, and standards of conduct.
- Follow safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively, and discern warning or emergency alarms, including forklift horns.
- Sufficient vision to review and read documents, reports, and other job-related information, and observe signage in the plant
- Sufficient manual dexterity to perform repetitive motions in fingering and hand/wrist/arm movement, including using a keyboard.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; frequently push/pull up to 50 lb.; occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs., push/pull up to 100lbs.; and rarely lift and carry up to 100 lbs. All work is performed between floor and shoulder height.
- Ability to stand continuously for one hour or more during shift duration.
- Ability to walk for up to 4.5 cumulative hours during shift duration.
- Ability to sit continuously for one hour or more during the shift duration and sit for up to 2 cumulative hours.
- Sufficient body flexibility and balance which require repeated bending, stooping, and kneeling motions. Ability to bend and twist at the head, neck and waist.
- Ability to occasionally climb stairs upon entering/leaving the facility
- Sufficient attention to concentrate and complete tasks.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Typical working conditions are exposed to moderate noise but at times may be exposed to loud and excessive noise
- Production areas of the facility may include variations in temperature, odor, humidity, dust or dirt, and debris.
- Operation of forklifts, hand tools, and other support equipment may be used.
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Safe operation techniques of forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes, including ERP systems
- Packaging standards and documentation for incoming and outgoing freight
- Roll stock handling, inspection procedures, and proper storage practices
- Workplace safety regulations and effective communication within cross-functional teams
SKILL AND ABILITY TO:
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational procedures and instructions, and policies.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Verbally communicate to clearly convey information and feedback to team members and supervisors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Experience in warehouse or shipping and receiving preferred
- At least six (6) months of previous forklift operation required
- Clamp truck operation experience, preferred
The primary purpose of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to ensure the accurate and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing materials within the facility. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for executing day-to-day logistics operations including receiving, inspecting, and inventorying raw materials and supplies; preparing and shipping finished goods; and maintaining accurate inventory records within the ERP system. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
