Certified Home Health Aide

Duties:

• Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Help with laundry and other household tasks as needed.
• Assist with medical documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current HHA Certificate for the state of California.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a home health aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Any other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
