Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Special Education Specialist. In this role, you will work with children to provide individualized educational support, develop and implement special education programs, and employ evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Additional responsibilities include maintaining effective communication with educators, families, and support staff, monitoring progress, and updating educational plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Special Education and Education
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related methodologies
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable and experienced in Working With Children in an educational or therapeutic capacity
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in ABA or Special Education are a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
