What You'll Do
- Dispense medications and ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance
- Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians in the safe and efficient preparation, fulfillment, and distribution of medications.
- Review prescriptions and evaluate appropriateness of therapy
- Counsel patients on medications, chronic conditions, and adherence
- Provide immunizations and preventative care services
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff
- Assist with inventory management and daily pharmacy operations
- Active North Carolina Pharmacist License
- Bachelor’s or PharmD in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
- Immunization certification (CPR required)
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to manage workflow in a high-volume pharmacy
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
