Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal, instruct special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with district policies and procedures; assesses students (initials, triennials, and progress monitoring); develops and implements Individual Education Program (IEP) goals; consults, collaborates and co-teaches with other teachers and specialists; and coordinates individual student programs to promote access to the core curriculum and to increase independence and functioning in society. Provides an educational program for TK-8 students with a variety of developmental challenges and learning needs.
