Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Administer HR programs including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations,
- Support full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles, including job
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for plant employees and supervisors regarding
- Support employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary actions,
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data for a high-volume workforce
- Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with benefits questions and
- Support performance management and corrective action processes in partnership with
- Assist with training initiatives, including new hire orientation, safety training
- Support Payroll functions, assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing as needed
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation to support audits and business needs
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and
- Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations impacting
- Experience supporting attendance policies, shift-based schedules, and production
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on plant environment
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Experience with safety programs, workers’ compensation, or OSHA reporting
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment
- May require walking the production floor, standing, or occasional lifting
- Must be able to work flexible hours to support multiple shifts as needed
