Job Overview
As a Bridal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for brides-to-be as they select their dream wedding attire. You will provide personalized service, guiding clients through the selection process while ensuring that their needs and preferences are met. Your expertise in customer service will provide a welcoming environment that encourages clients to feel confident and excited.
Duties & Expectations
- Assist brides and bridal parties in selecting wedding gowns and accessories, providing expert advice on styles, fits, and trends.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to our customers in a family-friendly atmosphere.
- Utilize Square POS system to process transactions and Google Sheets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to client needs and addressing questions.
- Communicate effectively with clients both in-person and over the phone. You will have your own work phone for booking appointments and answering emails.
- Ultimately looking for someone to stay with our boutique long term.
- Stay informed about current bridal fashion trends and product knowledge to better assist clients.
- Eventually, would like someone to learn our store's consignment requirements to accept and select consigned merchandise.
- Light cleaning after the day is over like vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, emptying trash cans, etc.
- The position is for Saturdays and customer selected weekday appointments, Tuesday-Friday. We are open by appointment only.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Proven bridal stylist and retail sales experience.
- Must be extremely reliable, patient, trustworthy, outgoing, kind-hearted and a great listener.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling inquiries and appointments professionally.
