Our local, independent pharmacy is looking for a dedicated and customer-centric New Jersey licensed pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy team. This role involves supporting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, entering accurate data, and maintaining patient confidentiality. A strong candidate will have a proven track record of excellent customer service and interaction, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong contributor to efficient and safe pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
● Under direct pharmacist supervision, assist pharmacists and teams in preparing prescriptions within a community pharmacy setting.
● Perform accurate pharmacy calculations
● Enter prescriptions into pharmacy software systems with accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and precise patient records.
● Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with regulations.
● Ensure adherence to safety protocols and pharmacy policies
● Effectively communicate with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate pharmacy services
Experience
*New Jersey Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing
*Prior experience working in a community pharmacy environment is preferred.
*Proficient in pharmaceutical calculations and the medication management processes
* Excellent attention to detail and customer service skill sets
* Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory standards
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
