Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field. - Valid teaching certification in social studies for the state of Texas. - Previous experience teaching social studies at the high school level is preferred. - Strong knowledge of social studies content, including history, geography, civics, and economics. - Experience in coaching high school athletics, with a proven track record of developing student-athletes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. - A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. - Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed about educational best practices. |
