What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at Somerset Winery?
Kitchen Manager will have full responsibility to help build a new winery restaurant with the owners of the winery. The manager will be involving with recruiting and hiring kitchen and serving personel, help create and modify menus, train staff, create work schedules, and create a new wine country restaurant experience.
Daily Operations: Monitor both the dining room and kitchen to ensure food quality, proper timing, and smooth service during busy shifts.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and schedule front- and back-of-house employees. Handle performance evaluations, resolve staff conflicts, and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the budget, track sales, minimize waste, and control labor and inventory costs to hit financial targets.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Oversee stock levels, order food and beverages, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Customer Relations: Greet guests, monitor patron satisfaction, and professionally resolve any customer complaints.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict health, food safety, and sanitation standards, as well as local employment laws.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
