What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative position at Somerset County YMCA?
Hillsborough YMCA is looking for a friendly, administratively focused Member Service Representative who is responsible for serving members, guests, and program participants in a prompt, and courteous manner. You not only build relationships by greeting members and guests, but are also responsible for leading cause driving tours, problem solving and for performing technical/administrative tasks to best serve them. In this role you will be supporting the Membership Director in various reporting including membership data reports and financial assistance reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Possess at least three years customer service or related job experience
* Minimum education equivalent to high school
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems such as Daxko (will train)
* Exceptional speaking, communication and critical thinking skills
* Has experience and proven success with multi-tasking, problem solving and conflict resolution
* Is able to work as part of a team while being flexible, reliable and adaptable
* Is flexible in adapting to changing situations
* Bilingual and multicultural experience a plus
