The Hillsborough YMCA is looking for a responsible, safety focused Building Supervisor. We are seeking an individual to help support our mission in strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides safety and security for the YMCA members and staff at the Hillsborough YMCA

• Serves as a “manager on duty” in the absence of Senior Management

• Assists with any problems, issues, or concerns that may arise

• Creates a positive and supportive atmosphere to build meaningful relationships with members, staff, volunteers, and parents

EXAMPLE JOB TASKS

• Open / Close facility 

• Greets members, guests, and program participants in a prompt, courteous manner

• Complete regular facility walks to ensure all staff and members are safe & facility is clean

• Communicate with scheduled staff members if they are running late

• Provide tours to potential members

• Assist in coordinating Personal Training & Private Swim Lesson packages

• Register new members or current members for programming

• Data entry tracking

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have HS Diploma

• Must possess at least 3 years of customer service experience

• Must have proven success with conflict resolution

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database system Daxko (Will Train)

• Lifeguard certification is a plus, but not required

Required Hours: Sunday 7:00AM – 1:00PM

Additional Hours Available: Weekday Mornings 5:00am-9:00am; Weeknights 6:00-9:00pm.
