GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER COACH - EXTRA-CURRICULAR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER COACH

QUALIFICATIONS:

The applicant must hold a substitute teacher certificate or 30 college credits to be eligible for substitute certification.

Experience coaching at the high school level preferred, but is not required.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the assigned sport and student athletes involved in planned activities/events.

2. Promotes, organizes and supervises offsite games for students from the assigned athletic teams.

3. Organizes, develops and conducts safe, daily practices with student athletes.

4. Maintains notes or records of practices and season schedule in an accurate and organized fashion.

5. Orders and distributes appropriate athletic supplies and equipment assigned to student athletes.

6. Collects and inventories all assigned student equipment and supplies at the conclusion of the season.

7. Works directly with athletic advisor, school nurse, guidance department and school doctor to determine athletic eligibility for students.

8. Completes and submits an end of season report to athletic advisor.

9. Maintains order and provides direct supervision of athletes on or off site during all interscholastic competitions and practices.

10. Remains on site providing supervision of students until all athletes have departed.

11. Performs such tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superintendent or immediate supervisor.

RATE:   

$6,000.00 stipend position (Rate is in accordance with the 2025-26 negotiated agreement and is subject to change pending 2026-27 contract negotiations.)
