Position Overview
Somerset Public Schools is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our school nursing team. The LPN will work collaboratively with the school nurse, students, families, and school staff to provide high-quality health services and support a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and health services to students in accordance with established school health policies and procedures.
*Administer medications and treatments as directed and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
*Monitor and respond appropriately to student health needs and medical concerns.
*Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation.
*Communicate effectively with the school nurse, families, staff, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
*Assist with the management of students with acute, chronic, and complex health needs.
*Respond appropriately to health-related emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
*Support the implementation of individualized healthcare plans and emergency care plans.
*Promote student health, wellness, safety, and independence.
*Perform other duties as assigned by the school nurse or administration.
Salary : $30 - $32
