Remote | Somerled Designs | Part-time, 15-20 hours a week | Reports to Sales Director
Somerled is a design firm, specializing in short-term rentals. We have helped hundreds of investors across the US maximize the potential of their investment property through research, strategy, and design. We are as creative and design-forward as we are strategic thinking beyond “just a place to stay” to create experiential and memorable vacation rentals.
We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized, and curious Sales Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of sales and business development. As a Sales Intern at Somerled, you’ll build practical skills in CRM management, lead generation, sales communication, and partner engagement. You’ll also gain exposure to the tools and strategies used by high-performing startup sales teams with the potential to grow into a long-term role.
- Research and identify new leads and prospect using LinkedIn, reporting, and other tools
- Assist in writing and personalizing outbound email templates and drip campaigns
- Help create, revise, and maintain proposal decks, one-pagers, and other sales collateral
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new outreach opportunities or verticals
- Help maintain & build out CRM records by updating contact details, outreach, and historical information
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail, especially when working with data or preparing client-facing materials
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Prior internship or part-time experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
- Familiarity with CRM solutions
- Interest in interior design, hospitality, or real estate marketing is a plus!
