Someburros authentic Mexican family restaurant is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Counter Manager for one of our Arizona locations. This entry-level position starts at $16.00/hour, depending on experience, plus pooled tips (approximately $2 more per hour). We also offer our valued employees discounted meals and caterings. Full-time employees are also eligible for medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Family-owned and -operated since 1986, our fast-casual Mexican restaurant with multiple locations in Arizona uses family recipes. Every dish on the menu tells the unique story of the Vasquez family and their first restaurant, "Poncho's," which opened in South Phoenix in 1972, showcasing the family's signature, time-tested recipes for authentic Sonoran-style Mexican Food. Slow-cooked meats, delicate sauces, fresh chili peppers, seasonal vegetables, and homemade salsas wrapped in warm handmade tortillas proved a hit from the very beginning. Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
After your 2-week training period, you will be capable of performing the following duties and responsibilities with excellent service:
- Manage staff in a friendly and well-organized way
- Provide welcoming, efficient service to customers
- Ability to cross-train and work kitchen shifts
- Awareness of store standards regarding food, labor, disposables, and cleaning
- Ability to train a new hire from start to finish on the following concepts:
- Register concepts
- Opening and closing restaurant duties
- Capacity to learn specified manager roles such as inventory, scheduling, employee encouragement and discipline, computer forms and leading a shift

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME WORK SCHEDULE
Morning and/or evening shifts available. Work schedule availability depends on the specific restaurant's needs.
