Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests to ensure a smooth dining flow
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with health standards
- Support food service operations by delivering food from kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts and address guest needs promptly
- Support catering events or special functions by setting up, serving, and cleaning up as needed
- Ensure guest comfort by responding courteously to requests and providing attentive customer service throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards in dining and kitchen areas
- Ability to bus tables quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and basic kitchen experience is advantageous
