About the Role
Position Summary The Business Consultant is responsible for prospecting and selling Solvo products and services to organizations. Clearly and fully explain the benefits of staffing and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), ensuring client expectations are consistent with Company deliverables. Manages sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop short and long-term sales strategies and sales plans to increase sales volume and profit margins.
Responsibilities
Drive new business development within the assigned territory while consistently achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Manage client relationships, oversee renewals, and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and executive summaries that support business growth.
Develop and execute lead generation strategies, leverage Salesforce CRM, and maintain accurate sales, expense, and activity reporting.
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, products, and broker practices to identify opportunities and mitigate competitive threats.
Collaborate across teams, provide coaching and training when needed, ensure exceptional client service, and travel as required to support meetings, events, and business initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to generate new business, exceed sales targets, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Analytical, adaptable, and customer-focused, with the ability to solve problems and collaborate across teams.
- Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and high ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience within Payroll, HCM, PEO, BPO, or related industries.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and passport required; willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
