The Supply Chain Material Handler Team Lead will lead the daily process flow for material handlers to ensure the team meets time requirements, while promoting and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain team and other departments.
The Supply Chain Material Handler Team Lead will:
- Perform all job requirements of Material Handler on an as-needed basis.
- Drive continuous improvements and maintain 5S standards.
- Direct and assign Material Handlers to complete tasks and manage workload.
- Determine appropriate stock levels for stock areas.
- Maintain and evaluate stock areas to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Set up "Now & Next" bins, "Authority to Bring" cards, etc., for new products being stocked in various department stock areas.
- Meet with various customers to discuss new processes or ideas for continuous improvement in services that Supply Chain could provide.
- Serve as the point of contact when the Logistics Supervisor is unavailable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- One year experience in a Material Handling role or in a comparable environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be considered insurable by Solvita Insurance Provider
- Requires ability to lift and/or carry 60 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift, up to 100 lbs. A team lift should be used for any weight exceeding 60 lbs.
- Must be able to meet required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
