Essential Job Functions
- Work with Lab operations to identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies
- Monitor any order for timely delivery and accuracy of goods and services
- Accurate and timely recording of receipt of items at delivery in ERP system
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting related to orders, such as quality, delay, or incorrect shipments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records for audit purposes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management strong negotiation experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ERP system experience, especially D365
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- Familiarity with supplier risk management and strategic sourcing practices
