What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Solves All Engineering?
Position: Construction Laborer
Excavation, Drainage, Grading, Masonry, and general construction. We are looking for a journeyman or foreman level employee that can work independently or with a small crew. Skills required: Work safely, read plans, grading, CMU blocks, operate bobcat or excavator, and general construction principals. We do not specialize in one trade, we are construction generalists. You should be able to build a fence, repair a broken section sidewalk, or install a drain pipe.
We bid on government work and the majority of our jobs are prevailing wage ($70/hr for Laborer, $90 for equipment operator)
Work is mostly located in the Valley and East Bay (Livermore to Orinda).
This is a W-2 position. Reliable transportation is required.
