The Impact You Will Make in this Role
The Product Manager, Fluency Solutions is responsible for the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of Solventum’s Fluency portfolio, including Fluency Align and Fluency Direct. This role owns product vision, roadmap definition, monitoring of business performance, and cross-functional execution to ensure our speech and ambient documentation solutions deliver measurable value to providers, administrators, and healthcare systems.
This position partners closely with the business manager, product owner(s), engineering, clinical, sales, implementation, support, marketing, and regulatory teams to translate customer and market needs into scalable, compliant, and commercially successful solutions.
This role is accountable for driving business, clinical, and operational outcomes through strong product leadership.

- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy for Fluency Align and Fluency Direct.
- Translate company and portfolio-level objectives into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
- Evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to inform investment decisions.
- Ensure Fluency solutions align with Solventum’s broader healthcare AI and documentation strategy.
- Customer & Market Impact
- Represent the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback from providers, administrators, implementations, and support interactions.
- Identify unmet user needs and workflow challenges across diverse care settings and specialties.
- Balance innovation with usability, reliability, and clinical trust to drive adoption and end user satisfaction.
- Partner with sales and marketing to support value-based positioning, messaging, and go-to-market readiness.
- Delivery of Measurable Business Value
- Drive features and enhancements that support revenue and contract receipt growth, customer retention, and expansion.
- Partner to define success metrics and KPIs for adoption, usage, quality, and business outcomes.
- Partner with finance and commercial teams to support pricing, packaging, and ROI narratives.
- Ensure prioritization decisions reflect both customer value and business impact.
- Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and definition through delivery and optimization.
- Author and maintain clear product requirements, epics, and priorities for engineering and design teams.
- Facilitate trade-off decisions across scope, timeline, quality, and risk.
- Coordinate dependencies across engineering, data science, UX, regulatory, and implementation teams.
- Clinical, Technical, and Regulatory Partnership
- Collaborate with clinical experts to ensure solutions align with real-world documentation workflows.
- Partner with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet applicable healthcare, data privacy, and medical device requirements.
- Ensure product decisions consider scalability, performance, security, and interoperability with EHR/EMR systems.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Use data, analytics, and customer insights to evaluate product performance post-release.
- Drive continuous improvement through iterative releases and evidence-based prioritization.
- Champion modern product management practices, including discovery, experimentation, and outcome-focused delivery.
- Own end-to-end product management for Fluency Align and Fluency Direct.
- Define and communicate product roadmaps, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Translate customer and business needs into actionable requirements.
- Partner with product owner(s) and engineering on sprint planning, release readiness, and delivery outcomes.
- Support commercial teams with product expertise, demos, and roadmap clarity.
- Track and report on product performance, adoption, and impact.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND at least 5 years of experience in product management, healthcare technology, clinical documentation solutions,
- Associate degree AND at least 9 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with speech recognition, ambient documentation, or clinical workflow technologies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare documentation, provider workflows, or revenue cycle operations.
- Experience working with Agile development teams and modern product practices.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business and user value.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively in complex, matrixed environments.
