Qualifications:Here's what you'll need:Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.At Least 6 years of Industrial System Integration ExperienceKnowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.Experience with Rockwell and GE/Emerson PLCs.Experience with inductive automation Ignition software packages.Understand Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel.Ideally, you'll also have:Experience with Cimplicity and Rockwell programming packages.Experience in semiconductor, industrial or general industrial facilitiesExperience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system design.Pressure, temperature, flow, and level installation, calibration, and maintenance experience.Understand the operations, safety considerations, and applications for common analytical instruments, including pH and conductivity.Understand analog, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshooting.SQL server experience.Experience building industrial control panels.Ability to specify instrumentation and valves.Autocad experienceOther Requirements:Location:This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale, CA.The candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours, nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility based on the ability of the site to support and employee preference.After-hours on-call support services are occasionally requested.Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.Physical Requirements:The position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Authorized to Work:Applicant must complete a background check and drug screen and be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States.The company is not able to sponsor or continue a visa for this position.Responsibilities:We're looking for a Systems Integration Professional in Santa Clara, California, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor, industrial, and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering and programming tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll also provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your primary focus will be on configuration and programming of facility management system PLCs and HMI/SCADA interfaces. The role has the opportunity for growth expansion to work with our team in highly complex systems. The multi-discipline, highly interactive team produces designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing CAD applications, designs for control systems for a variety of facility core and shell processes, and develops options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you well with what you need to be successful.Comments/Special InstructionsThis role is intended to be contract-to-hire.
