The Quality Recieving Inspector Specialist is responsible for conducting quality recieving inspection of incoming raw materials for the Greenville, TX site to ensure that raw materials meet all applicable requirements. This includes cross verifying matrial certifications provided by suppliers with Solvay purchasing/recieving standards and purchase order requirements, working with suppliers and Solvay quality team to correct any non-conformances identified during recieving inspections, and giving quality approval or disapproval to recieve material in unrestricted inventory.
Performance objectives:
- Conduct quality recieving inspection of incoming materials. This includes cross verifying matrial certifications provided by suppliers with Solvay purchasing/recieving standards and purchase order requirements
- Take action to correct any non-conformances identified during recieving inspection by collaborating with suppliers and Solvay quality team. This includes documenting any non-conformances or opportunities for improvements found, issuing SCARs to suppliers, requesting additional documentation or ammended certifications from suppliers if needed, etc.
- Based on recieving inspection results, give quality approval or disapproval to recieve material in unrestricted inventory
- Create incoming raw materials in SAP inventory and file all applicable recieving documentation
- Ensure any non-conforming material recieved is properly marked and physically segregated per applicable procedures
- Work with Solvay quality team and suppliers on continuous improvement actions regarding supplier quality

- Strong computer skills and ability to easily learn electronic systems

Desired skills:
- Working knowledge of AS-9100 Rev D/ISO-9000:2015 Aerospace Quality Management systems or similarly highly regulated industry.
- Working knowledge of Composite/Adhesives Unit Operations or similar process industry.
