About The Role

• Our Architecture team, composed of 9 people, is leading the design and delivery of the Infrastructure & Workplace platform solution portfolio.
• As an Infrastructure & Workplace Architect focused on Hybrid Cloud, you will work on planning, coordinating and developing solutions and implementation activities to support the integration of applications and technologies. You will get the opportunity to contribute to and have a positive impact on the organization's datacenter & cloud strategy, designing the appropriate building blocks and supporting their integration into application architectures.
• You will be accountable for:
• Leadership in Architecture Practice: Lead the architecture for Infrastructure & Workplace domain, with a focus on hosting services in a hybrid cloud environment (AWS, On Premise Hosting).
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the Infrastructure Design & Build Manager to propose updates to solution roadmaps and align with strategic goals.
• Reference Architecture and Efficiency: Define functional and technical reference architecture patterns, balancing cost and efficiency in consultation with service owners.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the solution portfolio to identify deficiencies, such as outdated technologies or misalignment with business requirements.
• Lifecycle Accountability: Coordinate the technical lifecycle of the platform, informing service owners about the technology replacement roadmap and decisions.
• End-of-Life Support: Aid product managers in decisions regarding the maintenance, refresh, or retirement of services, systems, and technologies.
• Consultation and Design Alignment: Consult on infrastructure and application projects to ensure alignment with the overall architecture and modify designs as needed.
• Architectural Design and Guidance: Create architectural designs to support product, service, and system development, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and project execution plans.
• We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study.
• Relevant work experience of minimum five years in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development, with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments.

• Knowledge on:
• AWS Cloud (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, R53, IAM…)
• On Premise Datacenter Architecture (On Premise Hardware : Data room rack / power, SAN Storage)
• Active Directory / Entra ID / DNS; OS
• Windows Server / Linux
• Database : Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostGre
• Network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANS)
• IT security (TLS, FW …)
• ITIL service management processes
• Technical and Management Expertise: Proficient in system development methodologies (e.g., agile, DevOps), ITSM, ITIL, and hybrid cloud architecture, with strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strategic and Emerging Trends: Experienced in applying emerging technologies and supporting agile teams with guidance on risks, opportunities, and architectural decisions.
• Behaviors:
• Influence and Communication: Skilled in influencing stakeholders, navigating organizational dynamics, and articulating ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

About The Pay And Benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 46 720 euros to 73 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your location, skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
