Role Summary
As the Client Growth and Engagement Lead, you will play a central role in expanding our client base, strengthening long-term relationships, and helping guide the strategic direction of our accounts. You will work closely with leaders, creatives, strategists, and platform specialists, serving as the connective thread that helps clients succeed and opens new doors for SOLV.
This is a high-impact position with significant long-term growth potential.
A strong existing business network is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities1. Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary advocate for assigned clients. Guide them through the creative process, maintain alignment on goals, and ensure our strategic and creative work supports real business growth.
2. Client Needs Discovery
Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, challenges, audiences, and growth opportunities. Translate insights into actionable direction for our creative, strategy, content, and platform teams.
3. New Business Development (Core Priority)
Actively identify, pursue, and develop new client relationships. Leverage your existing network, as well as outreach and industry activity, to introduce prospects to SOLV. Your focus will be to build a strong pipeline and drive sustained agency growth.
An established network within business, marketing, or industry circles is highly advantageous.
4. Community and Industry Engagement
Represent SOLV in the local and regional business community. Attend events, build relationships, and help expand SOLV’s presence as a trusted and innovative marketing partner.
5. Strategic Input and Collaboration
Work closely with our strategy, creative, and platform teams to shape smart, innovative, data-backed solutions. Participate in brainstorming, campaign planning, and cross-department collaboration.
6. Reporting and Accountability
Assist with preparing reports that communicate performance, insights, opportunities, and next steps. Help maintain a culture of transparency, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years in a client-facing, business development, or account leadership role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, online advertising, and broader industry trends.
- Demonstrated success building client relationships and contributing to revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strategic judgment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects.
- Willingness to attend community and industry events to represent SOLV and support business development.
- Existing business network is a strong advantage.
Pay and Compensation
This role has a very competitive salary base plus large commission payout opportunities. Salaries generally start at $60,000 (negotiable depending on experience and personal network) with commission payouts easily taking compensation north of $100,000.
