What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services Engineer position at Solutionwerks, Inc.?
Company Profile:
Solutionwerks, Inc is a privately held corporation that supplies equipment, engineering, maintenance, and other technical services for the support of industrial gas plants in the U.S. as well as internationally. The company serves a large portfolio of clients but has a strong focus in the municipal wastewater market. Solutionwerks prides itself on providing excellent, timely, and cost-effective service to its customers’ facilities to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Our Impact:
Clean water is key to a healthy planet, and Solutionwerks believes it is making a difference by supporting its municipal wastewater customers. Each cryogenic and non-cryogenic oxygen plant acts as the heart of the wastewater treatment process by providing aeration to the treatment decks. Without safe and reliable operation of the oxygen plants the treatment plants would not continue to process wastewater. While our clients handle most of the day-to-day operation and maintenance the services Solutionwerks provides are vital to operation of the wastewater treatment plants and cleaning water for the world.
We strive to provide the expertise and products that will allow our customers to run their plants more efficiently and with greater reliability. Whether that be installing new equipment, changing running parameters, or performing risk analysis, we are always there to support our customers.
Your Impact:
We are looking for a field services engineer that is excited by multifaceted work and taking projects from start to finish. You’ll need to be comfortable spending time in the office preparing for site visits, planning projects, and communicating with customers as well as traveling to customer sites to perform installation, calibration, and process engineering related tasks. You’ll quickly be brought up to speed and given your own set of customers and projects to service and manage with the help of our small team. You’ll largely set your own travel schedule with customers except where you will travel to support other team members’ projects. You’ll participate in virtually every aspect of the business, but your main responsibilities will be supporting customer sites through routine and emergency maintenance visits. The level of effort and type of work varies from customer to customer and visit to visit.
We are looking for someone who is interested in aggressively pursuing growth and opportunities within the industry. A successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and participate in a niche industry gathering experience and knowledge not offered elsewhere. Solutionwerks is a small company, and a successful candidate has the potential to make a huge impact.
