Emerald 66 (https://emerald-66.com/) desires to identify a General Manager. Emerald 66 is an automated, high-volume co-packing and distribution company located in Seminole, OK. 

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a bottling plant. This includes hiring and training employees, reviewing production records and task orders as well as ensuring the company exceeds customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Be responsible for supervising production output, product quality, warehouse management and on-time shipping
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions when necessary
• Assist in creation of plant safety program and ensure commitment to plant safety
• Create and manage plant budgets
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste
• Oversee work schedules to ensure efficiency
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications

• Proven managerial experience and experience in the manufacturing or bottling industry
• Familiarity with industry standards including equipment and technical expertise
• Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation and inventory processes
• Experienced and proficient in MS Office
• Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask while working under restrictive timelines.
• Solid critical thinking skills and ability to organize
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, customers, inspectors and auditors.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times and in all situations
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Prior experience working in a production setting preferred
• Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls
• The employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, squeeze, using wrist flexion and extension with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Job will generally be in a manufacturing site.
