Organization Overview
Resilience Behavioral Health is a holistic, trauma-informed treatment center in Walpole, Massachusetts. We provide comprehensive care for adults with mental health and substance use disorders, with programming offered in person and in hybrid formats. Our mission is to help clients build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and foster meaningful connection.
Compensation
- Intensive Outpatient Program: $150 per Week dayshift, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Partial Hospitalization Program: $250 per Week day shift, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Compensation includes time allocated for documentation.
Position Summary
The Group Facilitator leads Daytime therapeutic groups for adults with mental health and substance use needs. Modalities include psychoeducation, interpersonal process, experiential work, and coping skills development. The facilitator documents services accurately and on time and collaborates with the clinical team to maintain treatment alignment and safety.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate structured therapeutic group sessions for adults with mental health and substance use disorders
- Deliver psychoeducational, process, experiential, and skills-focused groups
- Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging group environment
- Apply evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered interventions
- Complete group notes and participation summaries in KIPU or a comparable EHR
- Submit all documentation within 24 hours for Clinical Director review and signature
- Collaborate with the clinical team to align groups with individual treatment plans
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Experience facilitating group therapy in psychoeducation, process, or skills-based formats
- Familiarity with treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to engage clients and manage group dynamics effectively
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centered approaches
Qualifications Preferred
- Clinical writing experience in behavioral health settings
- Experience with the KIPU EHR
- Certifications in group therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or substance use treatment
Compliance Notice
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own records and meeting all tax obligations. Compensation includes time allocated for documentation.
