Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations.
- Collect and analyze financial documents, including income statements, tax returns, credit reports, bank statements, and employment records.
- Communicate with applicants to request missing information, clarify details, and provide status updates throughout the loan process.
- Prepare loan files for underwriting, ensuring all required documentation is included and properly formatted.
- Coordinate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve discrepancies or issues that may delay approval.
- Order and track third‑party services, such as appraisals, title work, verifications of employment, and credit checks.
- Maintain accurate records in the bank’s loan processing system and ensure timely follow‑up on outstanding items.
- Ensure compliance with lending laws, bank policies, and quality control standards.

Qualifications
