What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Billing Specialist position at Solutions, inc?
Job Description:
Creates and sends invoices for clients, ensures all invoices are accurate, and resolves billing errors.
Ensures customers pay invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
Keep detailed and up-to-date payment records.
Duties include:
- Calculate additional charges, such as shipping costs, to include in invoices
- Ensure every invoice sent out is accurate
- Resolve billing errors that other staff or customer flag
- Keep a record of collected payments with customer information
- Work with other members of the financial staff, such as Accountants and Bookkeepers
- Perform any necessary administrative duties, such as auditing customer records
- Prepare account statements for customers
- Follow up on outstanding payments by contacting customers
- Data collection, record keeping, and filing.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of basic accounting math
- Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries
- Familiar with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
- Solid organizational skills to keep track of invoices
- Great customer service skills to work with various clients
- Knowledge of data entry for record keeping
- General administrative skills, including managing emails and accounting books
Experience:
Bookkeeping knowledge or pass invoicing experience.
Education and Training Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
