JOB SUMMARY:

Our Billing Specialists provide exceptional service to our clients and insurance vendors. They are responsible for:

·       Obtaining knowledge of Solutions' programs and their respective CPT coding and billing requirements 

·       Timely and accurately reviewing of primary and secondary claims prior to submission

·       Processing of all reviewed claims to the respective clearinghouses 

·       Reviewing claim processing reports and acting to resolve rejected claims

·       Posting payments as assigned and addressing denials with insurance companies on required timelines

·       Review and data entry or insurance and address changes into the EHR system

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Solutions is looking for a team player who is passionate about our mission! A qualified individual would have:

·       Knowledge of current outpatient mental health CPT coding system

·       Knowledge of Minnesota Medicaid/MN-ITS claims processing

·       Knowledge of ND Medicaid claims processing system

·       Previous experience with Commercial Insurance Payors

·       Previous experience with Availity claims submission

·       Knowledge of revenue cycle billing

·       Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills

·       Exceptional attention to detail

·       A high level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytic skills

·       The ability to function both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

·       A minimum of 2 years’ experience in mental health/medical billing experience preferred

This position is required to be an in-office position through the probationary period with opportunity for remote work once probationary period is met.
