What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician, Mechanic or Recon position at Solutions Auto Group, LLC?
B-Level Mechanic – Recon | Radio Installs | Detail Support
Solutions Auto Group – Duncan, Oklahoma
$15–$35/Hour | 40 Hours Guaranteed | Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Steady work. Real standards. Room to grow.
Our shop has four levels: Lube Tech, Mechanic, Technician and Specialist.
This opening is for a B-Level Mechanic. You'll get our vehicles front-line ready, done right the first time.
This is not a diagnostic position. Our Specialist handles the diagnosing. You handle the repairs, the reconditioning, and getting cars finished.
What You'll Do
- Recon mechanical work: brakes, suspension, steering, belts, hoses, batteries, starters, alternators, fluids, tune-ups and bearings
- Aftermarket radio and stereo installs
- Help the detail team get vehicles sale-ready
- Flag safety concerns you notice along the way
- Test-drive and verify every job before calling it done
Why Solutions Auto Group?
- 40 hours guaranteed. No guessing about your paycheck.
- Monday–Friday. No weekends.
- Steady, year-round work. We own, sell, finance and maintain our own inventory, so the cars are already here.
- Not an upsell shop. Fix it right, verify it, get it back on the road.
- Clear path up. Our levels are built so good mechanics can grow into Technicians.
What $35/Hour Means
That's top-performer pay. It's earned through results, not years in the trade.
That means:
- Clean, correct work
- Low comebacks
- Steady production
- Accurate documentation in Tekmetric
You're a Fit If You:
- Take pride in doing it right the first time
- Can work from a repair order without someone over your shoulder
- Speak up when you hit a roadblock
- Keep your bay and tools professional
- Show up on time, every day
To Apply, Tell Us:
- What three repairs are you most confident doing?
- Have you done radio, stereo or remote start installs? On what kinds of vehicles?
- Do you have your own tools?
- What does "done right" mean to you before you hand a car back?
- What pay structure helps you do your best work?
Already working somewhere? That's fine. A confidential conversation doesn't obligate either of us.
