Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Front End Engineer specializing in React who is capable of seeing features through from design to delivery, helping drive requirements, development, and write tests. In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the development of front-end applications from design to launch within your team’s workstream.
- Build and maintain features in alignment with the company’s mono-repo for front-end applications.
- Serve as a strong React developer, implementing best practices and high-quality code.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and component-based implementation plans.
- Work closely with platform teams to leverage reusable components and internal tooling for efficient development.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of front-end features in production.
- Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to peers to maintain engineering excellence.
- Contribute to team discussions on standards and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of feature-based architecture (feature-based code organization, domain-driven folder structure).
- Strong emphasis and knowledge of SOLID design principles applied to React, TypeScript.
- Experience using Playwright Testing Framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in an enterprise-scale client-side framework, preferably React.
- Experience building component-based front-end applications and integrating with back-end APIs.
- Solid understanding of modern REST API standards and concepts.
- Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and continuous delivery practices (CI/CD, feature flagging).
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools like Datadog or Kibana.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
