Functional Analyst - Lead

Seeking a Functional Analyst, Lead to join our team at Langley AFB, VA. This effort is to support SOI’s Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel (ECMM) Support Services contract that reinforces SOI’s position as an industry leader in supporting the operational and IT needs of the federal logistics community.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Serve as a medical readiness Global Force Manager and Planner for Air Combat Command (ACC)
• Coordinate Air Force medical support and deployment requirements with Combatant Commands, Major Commands, HQ Air Force (HAF), Air Force Personnel Center, and 11 ACC bases
• As Air Force provider of ground medical conventional forces, utilizes Air Force Generation (AFFORGEN) concept to posture, track, and source personnel for deployment
• Ensure adherence to HAF Medical Resource Letter (MRL) and complete Medical Readiness Decision Support System (MRDSS) updates on an as needed basis
• Verify deployment taskings, research and complete reclamas, and complete unit identifier code (UIC) changes
• Accomplish Force Readiness Reporting (FRR) reports for ACC Command Surgeon
• Prepare various reports and charts for ACC Director of Medical Readiness Division and Command Surgeon.
• Provide written and verbal guidance on instructions, policies, and doctrine
• Participate in staff assistance and readiness mentorship visits to determine the effectiveness of medical readiness programs

More About the Role:
You will have an important role in providing much needed support to our SOI mission as a Functional Analyst Lead providing operations support pertaining to medical readiness.

Education and Experience:

• Ten years specialized Air Force Medical experience working in medical readiness planning and programming, doctrine, ECMM manpower force packaging and training.
• Proven experience working with a military team operating at a Major Command or Headquarters level.
• A working knowledge of medical aspects and applicability to AF planning systems and MRA/Pilot Unit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred.
• Must have and retain a Secret Clearance.
