Role Description The objective of this engagement is to design and activate a cohesive Operational Excellence system—spanning strategy deployment, tiered performance management, portfolio/program
governance, process and value stream improvement, and leader/associate capability development—to achieve consistent, scalable, and sustainable performance improvement site-wide. It's a contract from 3 to 6 months.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and present data for process improvement and performance tracking.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate workshops, lead cross-functional meetings, and convey complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, including process mapping, standard work development, and continuous improvement in manufacturing or regulated environments.
- Proven project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute operational excellence initiatives from inception through implementation and sustainment.
- Sales or stakeholder engagement experience to build buy-in for improvement initiatives and articulate value to internal and external partners.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with digital tools for workflow automation and reporting; experience with Smartsheet or comparable platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on-site in College Station, Texas, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing client and project needs.
